What are Geo-Thermal Units?
They are a heat pump system, that operate the same as Water-Source Heat Pumps. The difference between the two systems, is the Geo-Thermal units (also occasionally known as "Ground Source") use the Earth's natural thermal properties to capture the heat used for the water loop, which is located underground as opposed to in a tower or boiler. Without the need for the boiler or tower, the energy costs are substantially lower, and less space is necessary for installation.
